Over my Semester at Sea voyage, I have tried many different types of snacks in many different packages.
Japan
I did not try these but the packaging looked so pretty
I did, however, try these!
Picture 1) Japanese yogurt
Picture 2) Kit Kat's (that I tried to collect over the voyage)
Picture 3) A milk tea that I got for our train ride from Hatashima
Picture 4) A coffee drink that I got in Kobe
Picture 5) Packaged rice that I got in Japan and brought it back on the ship (yet they told me I had to eat it one sitting. They did not want it to rot in my cabin.)
Picture 6) These cookies were amazing and they came in this cute little container. I got them in Kobe and I ate them all between our time from Japan to China! I kept the container during my voyage; however, got rid of it during the last few days at sea because I needed to make room when coming home.

China
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) They were like lego gummies; you could stack them, or could connect them. Playable gummies
Picture 2) A water I got before going to Beijing. It had lemon and sea salt and it was actually really good!
Picture 3) Another type of gummy that I found. It tasted like grapes
Picture 4) Jif Jaf's which I thought would be the Chinese version of Oreo's. However, they tasted like matcha and had some chocolate taste but I do not think tasted anything like an Oreo.
Picture 5) They looked like they would be good crackers; however, I do not remember them being all that great.

Vietnam
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) It looks like a fish; yet, it has ice cream inside. It was an ice cream sandwich and it was delicious!
Picture 2) Lays Stax something I had never heard or seen before Vietnam; especially the Hot Chilli Squid flavor. All I can say is the flavor was interesting, not bad, not good, just interesting.
Picture 3) A snack that I picked up before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City. The best way I could describe this snack is as a Rice Krispie Treat, but healthier and not as sweet.
Picture 4) I am a sucker for mochi, and when I saw this I had to get it and try it! It was worth getting it for it was amazing!
Picture 5) It was DELICIOUS; however, I have to say (picture 4) was more delicious, not picking favorites though!
Picture 6) Oh wow it was delicious! All the mochi was amazing! So happy I found all the different flavors to try!
Picture 7) Koala March, a Japenese food, that I was able to find in Vietnam. I had seen other voyagers on the ship eating this delicious snack and I had wanted to try it, so luckily enough I was able to find and try it. Wish we had it in the United States for it is delicious and so fun!
Picture 8) Strawberry Koala March! To be honest, I think I liked the chocolate ones much better, not complaining though the strawberry flavor was still very good!

Myanmar
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) These were a candy that was passed out near the end of our first day by our Field Program guide. It tasted like a mix between peanut brittle and Rice Krispy.
Picture 2) This was a candy that was passed out on our flight to Bagan. It was shaped like pizza and I think was supposed to taste like a pizza I am not exactly sure; however, I know that I did not like them!
Picture 3) This aloe peach juice was amazing! I had it on my last day in Myanmar on my Global Studies Field Class to an Artisan Village. We stopped at a shop because we were all really hot and some people got this drink. My friend Micaela allowed me to try the drink and it was good, you could definitely taste the little aloe bits!
All of the photos show snacks that I personally tried

India
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) This candy was not my favorite. It did not taste pleasant and to be honest, I would not try it again!
Picture 2) The Tiffany Crunch' N Cream was delicious! It reminded me of a wafer back in the United States. I would definitely try this again if I could find it!

Mauritius
I did not have the chance to try any new cool snacks :(

South Africa
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) These pretzel twists I got on my first day in South Africa. They were during our Intercultural Communication Field Class, to a local college.
Picture 2) I tried Stoneys Ginger Beer for the first time in South Africa. I learned that apparently you can only get this kind of ginger beer in South Africa!
Picture 3) This snack I got in South Africa. I was trying to try different candies, and this was one of the candies that I found!
Picture 4) Nestle Aero Peppermint was one of the candy bars I found in South Africa. It was really pepperminty and had a nice refreshing taste! It reminded me almost of York Peppermint Pattie.
Picture 5) These chocolate sticks looked really good from a distance. However, when I tried them they tasted like average chocolate pretzel sticks in the United States, almost like Pocky.
Picture 6) Jolly Jammers, oh wow they are definitely a snack that smiles back! They are chocolatey and so good! I bought so many boxes because they looked so good and adorable!
Picture 7) Whoever heard of Tortilla Mexican Salsa flavored Pringles? Not me until I got to South Africa! However, to be honest, I do not think I would try them again, once is enough.
Picture 8) The TV candy bar I found and wanted to try it. I thought it would maybe have all the flavors that you would eat when watching TV, like salty, and sweet. However, it was not my favorite candy bar that I had tried so far on the voyage.
Picture 9) I had never heard or even seen Mystery Flavor Pringles until I got to South Africa. I opened the can finally when we were departing Ghana and on our way to Morocco. With the Morrocan guest, and my friends from China we tried to figure out what the flavor was almost like a tomato sauce flavor.
Picture 10) Eating some Cheesy Cheese flavored Pringles near the end of the voyage. The Pringles were really cheesy but got me through A Walk to Remember.

Ghana
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) This drink I had when I had a hosted home dinner in Ghana. It was delicious and 10/10 would definitely try it again!
Picture 2) This candy bar I tried, on my journey to try different candy bars. It was good and caramelly.
Picture 3) This was another good candy bar that I tried. It was rich and sweet with chocolate.
Picture 4) This is almost like a little biscotti cookie that we have in the United State; however, it was from Ghana, anyway it was delicious!

Morocco
Snacks I tried
Picture 1) This little bear was a soft sponge filled with chocolate. It tasted very interesting, and yes it looked so cute; however, it is not exactly what I expected. I expected the sponge to be softer, and the chocolate to be richer. I do not know if I would try this food item again.
Picture 2) This chocolate pie was quite delightful. It had a nice outside chocolate shell, as well as a delicious inside filling.
Picture 3) I had the chance to try one of these purple Oreo's when visiting my friends from China, in their cabin. The Oreo tasted like a normal Oreo; however, sweeter, and better the Oreo's in America.
Picture 4) I tried this All in One candy bar with no expectations. I was again thinking it would have many flavors and things inside it almost like a Take 5 candy bar in the United States. However, the All in One did not taste like a Take 5. It was not bad, it was not what I thought it might possibly taste like.
Picture 5) This jar of Twix I found at a gas station stop in Morocco. I found it and bought it thinking my sisters would love to try this. My sisters and I love trying cookie butter, so we would love to try this Twix. Thus, I bought it and did not open the jar until I got home to the United States at the end of April.
